I was super thrilled for my best pal, Kate, when she got engaged to the love of her life, Andy, while on holiday in Perth. I was super excited when she started planning her wedding and asked me to attend. I was over the moon when she asked me to be her makeup artist for her wedding in Vanuatu!
My excitement continued when Kate hired one of my absolute favourite wedding photographers, Emma Nayler, to travel with us to paradise to be the official wedding photographer! Look at these bee-yoo-ti-ful images right here. They are outstanding!
I loved Kate's "Boho Ballerina" look
Kate wanted warm colours for her wedding makeup, to tie in with the tropical island location, her colouring, and the bronze beading on her dress. I was able to create a gorgeous natural look, that still allowed her pretty green eyes to pop like nobody's business. For her cheeks and lips I used coral products, which worked well with the bronze tones on the eyes, and also tied in with the bridesmaid dresses
Beautiful sisters, Charlotte, Kate and Sarah. For the bridesmaids I used similar warm colours on the eyes, but to make them a little different from the bride, I gave them a smokey eye look with black liner on the inner rimMy Man Cub and I at the wedding having a grand time drinking Welkam cocktails. My son wears a palm leaf "watch" one of the staff on Erakor Island made for him. He kept it on for two days, bless him!
We enjoyed a super fun and relaxing holiday in Vanuatu. The wedding was on Erakor Island, where most of the guests stayed. The staff were amazing, the location was divine and we would go back in a heartbeat. I’d love to explore Vanuatu further, and simply enjoy the beautiful, welcoming local people.
