When I heard Model in a Bottle setting spray had been featured on Oprah and The Tyra Banks Show, I was SOLD. Because anything those two women are recommending, I’m buying. They are the finders of the awesome, the bringers of the brilliant, the Queens of the best of everything in the whole wide world; The Shiz.

So I bought it, tried it and FELL IN LOVE.

Once you’ve finished your makeup, you simply spray it on your face and let it dry for about 20 seconds. Then, I kid you not, your makeup WILL NOT BUDGE for eight hours. And if you’re thinking that I’m just one of those girls who has a normal skin type with not much of a budge going on anyway, think again. I have combination oily-normal skin, and I can get quite shiny in my t-zone. Usually foundation and eye makeup I’ve applied in the morning doesn’t last beyond 3 o’clock unless I’ve applied a full coverage foundation with plenty of powder, and some touch-ups throughout the day.

Now I can wear a nice, sheer, lightweight foundation with just a quick flick of powder in my t-zone and it lasts all day long. It’s positively magical!

I will say it doesn’t smell particularly nice. It has quite a strong chemical smell to it, and it can sting any open skin, but if you’re careful, you should be fine. And, for this little yellow duck, a bit of stink and sting is totally worth it.

Found at Makeup and Glow, AUD$35.00 for original solution, or $39.00 for the sensitive solution. (Isn’t that a kick in the head though – not only do you have the misfortune of having sensitive skin, but you’re out an extra four bucks as well. Sheesh!)
