My lovely friend, Andrea, of Jaye Create (the very same who created my beautiful website!) got married on the weekend! It was a stunning affair on the Sunshine Coast, and I was honoured to do the bridal party’s makeup.
There was a collective sigh of relief as the weather cleared up for the occasion after cyclonic weather the weekend prior, when I worked on no less than eleven weddings over three days! A brilliant idea to be wed on 10.10.10… but the darn blasted elements had other ideas. The brides were all troopers though, and didn’t let the rain and wind get them down, but focused on the important part – marrying the loves of their lives!
Anyway, back to Andrea’s wedding to her long-time love, Trent. This is a mere preview, as I am sure I will want to share more and more images of this particular wedding with you in the weeks to come. Andrea did a brilliant job of planning her intimate backyard wedding, with DIY galore. It just goes to show, all you need to have the wedding of your dreams is a little know-how, some crafty skills, creative vision and, of course, style.
