A Red-Lipped Bride I Lurve

Oh Amy, how I loved this bride! She was such a dream to work with, every step of the way. A lovely lass, who knew what she wanted, had a beautiful canvas with which to work with (being her face, if that wasn’t clear), and she had planned a super funky affair at Rainbow Beach.

Amy’s vintage-inspired wedding and birdcage veil called for a classic 1950’s makeup design – natural eye makeup with a classy, fine liquid line for definition, lush lashes and browsers. I gave her a flush of colour on her cheeks for a hint of “blushing bride”, and of course, that bold red lip. Gor-gee-ous!

Working with me on this wedding for hair was the incomparable Taryn Smith, my best girl for guaranteed hair amazingness.

Amy had the smarts about her to hire wedding photographer, Julian Beattie to snap her on hers and now husband, Jeremy’s, big day. Here are a couple of images from their wedding. Love the Vespa! However, you will really want to make sure you see the whole she-bang over at Julian’s blog. So worth the look if you’re happen to be hankering for some inspiration of the wedding variety. Who isn’t?
