I play with words like my four-year-old plays with blocks. I build ‘em up, knock ‘em down, rearrange the colours and then tell everyone to BACK OFF and not go near them. Yes alright, I’m an ex-editor.

Having come from a world filled with fun wildlife articles and hard-hitting conservation pieces, this all seems a bit frivolous. But hey, for all the three years I bashed out the stories for CRIKEY! Magazine, I looked down at well-manicured nails typing away, periodically breaking to contemplate my work with a twirl of my ghd-styled hair and a nibble on my glossed up lower lip.

Between finding ten fun facts on perenties and emails to Canadian Fisheries regarding baby harp seal clubbing, my all-girl team would swap nail polishes and regale each other with our most recent trials and tribulations in the world of fake tanning.

In short – I’m a writer, which I love, and I’m a girl. I’m going to take some time on here to write about girl stuff; beauty and what-not.
